In use today

A bike ride this morning in search of bacon rolls. Arriving at the cafe 5 minutes after the close of breakfast service meant we had to ride to another cafe. Still the bacon sarnies there were very good and I bought a take out Eccles cake to have for tea.
Back home about 1 with 28 miles on the clock and the sun shining fiercely. Hay fever symptoms in full swing by then and a red warning for UV so we decamped to the summer house where the gov had a snooze and I designed the control set up for an irrigation system.
Cooling off a bit now but still wall to wall blue sky.
