Spectacle

I had my moth trap out last night and had a good haul, it's been a slow year for moths. This is a spectacle moth, you can maybe see why. In extra is a clouded border, one of the moths that rests with it's wings open like a butterfly.

Hubby arrived home after checking on MIL over the weekend, not an easy job as the dementia is getting worse. He brought L with him for a few days so that's great. She is going to be teaching in Armadale Academy after the summer but needs to drive to get there. We went for a driving lesson, (the first time | have taken her) before dinner and she managed to drive locally even in my van which is unfamiliar, it will hopefully be more familiar by the end of the week (and still be in one piece!)
Now it's roast dinner and a glass of red even although it is still 26 deg C here
