Dappled sunlight in Gelt woods.

We stopped at Gelt woods on the way back from looking at the open gardens in Brampton, near Carlisle this afternoon.

Brampton, and the gardens, were beautiful...hot though.

So it was good to cool off in the nearby Gelt woods, following the river Gelt as it meandered through the dappled sunlight.
