Cardinham woods

Without the van the dogs haven't been able to enjoy Cardinham, so we set off reasonably early to miss the crowds and enjoy the coolness of the day.
The dogs wanted to do the higher longer walk, but I thought with the heat increasing a shorter walk near the river was the best plan.
Just as we were finishing we bumped into my friend and her husband and their 4 dogs. Hadn't seen her for a month due to her going on holiday, then she caught COVID and then my van broke down. So when she suggested I join them I jumped at the chance and ignored my idea of keeping the dog's walk shorter.
It was great to catch up and the dogs enjoyed playing in their extended pack, with plenty of river stops
