Little boys, big pitch

There were two junior games on today so the under 11s got to play on the big pitch. They usually play on Astro or a wicket cut in the outfield so it was a real treat to have a properly prepared wicket on the square.
H played well. He was unlucky to have an amazing catch taken off what would have been a 6, but he got the lad back by smashing the stumps with his bowling. Unfortunately H’s team lost by 5 runs, but they had fun.
