You certainly could not have custom-ordered a more beautiful weather day -- bright blue skies, warm sunshine, and mirror-smooth water made for a spectacular morning roaming this beautiful, peaceful island.

The ruins of the ancient nunnery and the imposing abbey were both fascinating to discover, and the wealth of wildflowers (fuchsias!) growing out of stone walls -- and even inside on the abbey's windowsills were gorgeous.

This afternoon, we are anchored off the coast of nearby Lunga where we hope to see some puffins as we cruise quietly along the shoreline in the Zodiacs.
