Dinner with our daughter

Twice yearly visit to the dental hygienist went well and she was pleased with my efforts. Always nice to be praised!

Spent the afternoon lounging in the garden soaking up the sun before our daughter and her boyfriend arrived just before 6. The dogs were very pleased to see them and behaved impeccably when they took them for a quick walk before their dinner.

We headed out to our favourite local Italian for our reservation at 7.45. With one thing and another we haven’t been there for ages and it was lovely to be back. The owners Tony and Gemma are always so welcoming and the food was delicious. As Connor is a bar manager and orders the wine in the restaurant group he works for we asked him to choose the wine. It was a new one on me but very smooth and reasonably priced.

It was a lovely evening and when we got home I realised I hadn’t blipped (becoming a habit) and so you have this poor shot of the moon taken just after 10.15.
