THe best part of a brisk windy day...

...is that the gulls are nearly motionless! The wind was such that they could hover over the crashing surf and dive in whenever food presented itself. I got a good angle on the pier and snapped a couple hundred shots while fussing with my settings. About 10 minutes was all my fingers could handle.

The campsite was secluded and cozy. We brought plenty of clothing, and it's hardly "roughing it" when you have your own heated camper and bathroom. Long walks and plenty of lazing around..
