Garden Seat

The double seat gets its first coat; although it appears a touch blue in this photo, it is actually slate. A few varnished places have started to show up, and of course, it won't cover them, so I must stop and properly sand it down. (I thought I'd get away with it) and I had expected it to be a little darker, but I still like the colour and with 2 or 3 coats (and a decent sanding), I'm sure it will look brand-new.

A scorcher of a day, my sweet peas are secured to the fence with some cable ties thanks to MamaB's help with my pots when she was here and I'm hoping they will spread and flower soon, they're in a nice sunny spot.
