Day trip to Belfast
Up bright and early for the 07.30 sailing from Cairnryan to Belfast. It was a lovely crossing which we spent out on the deck in the warm sunshine. My main blip was taken as we arrived in Belfast at the end of the two and a quarter hour crossing.
My son has lived in Belfast for the past 4 years for work purposes and we met him at The Ulster Museum as we usually do, for coffee before visiting the current exhibitions. I particularly liked the fashion photography exhibition and the 2021 Turner prize installation 'The Druthaib's Ball.
Next we walked back into the city centre and visited the Craft NI Gallery, St Anne's Cathedral and The MAC. A few of my photos in the extra.
Final visit was to the Red Panda Chinese Restaurant, another regular place for our annual visit, for a lovely early dinner.
Now back on board the ferry after a very tiring day, due back in Stranraer at 10pm and straight to bed!
