Not What Was Planned

Up at early o'clock to head out for a walk.

The plan was to tackle the central massif of Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons, but the roadworks on the A465 Heads of the Valley road the normal road was closed.  The diversion signs were nowhere to be seen.

So ended up going to the Dare Valley Country Park.  It was a bit of a struggle as it's quite a steep climb to start with.  But I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Arrived home and treated myself to some buttered crumpets and a cup of tea.  Yummy!

Had an afternoon snooze and then settled down to watch the Magic Weekend of rugby league up at Newcastle.  Although my team, Wigan Warriors was absolutely shocking.

Never mind been a good day.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Getting up early for a walk
