Feet in Glasgow

An overnight in Edinburgh, a bus to Glasgow this morning followed by connecting bus to Oban. We spotted the legs not far from Glasgow bus station. When there an email arrived to tell us the ferry we had booked tickets for as passengers was cancelled. Rather than try and change the booking I rebooked it, the battery on my phone is not good in recent weeks causing some issues after this cancellation. All was well on the new booking eventually although the fish and chip supper I had booked at the Bellachroy that evening didn’t receive my cancellation email. F and C for three sat waiting for collection, I will now need to go and pay for them.

Instead of an hour rushing around Oban we had six hours including a meal at the fish restaurant on north pier, all very pleasant.

Home about 11.15 pm and a lot of chat
The upside is all was well at home. The young woman caring for the cats is lovely, she has had great adventures in recent weeks including cycling, hiking and swimming in the sea.
