Hampton Court…again

This morning I decided to go past Hampton Court to look at the roundels by the main gate( see reference to similar one viewed yesterday at the Vyne). However I could not get very near as contractors are busy setting up for the Hampton Palace Festival (concerts) and are putting up all the staging and seating in the courtyards. Hence visitors can not go in via the main entrance for the next week or so. This was taken through a temporary fence. 

However there are nice alliums outside the palace and the field of flowers planted last year are now beginning to flower again…lots of poppies and cornflowers at present. 

I then went on a loop via Thames Ditton on the other side of the river. Still chilly at 10am but the sun came out later.
