HIDE & SEEK IN THE HCBs' GARDEN ON SILLY SATURDAY

Good morning lovely Blippers,

As it’s such a lovely morning, we decided that we would go out into the HCBs’ garden and play Hide and Seek - and there are lots of lovely plants for us to hide under.

In the top shot you will see some of us in the rhubarb bed, so we were able to get under all the big leaves - except Leighton, who was too big for even the biggest leaf!  This will make you laugh and is very silly - if you look carefully in the very middle of this shot, you will see Freddy Frog is well camouflaged underneath one of the leaves - he nearly got left behind when Mr. HCB collected us all up to bring us back indoors.  How silly would that have been to leave him outside, especially if it rains?

In the second shot, some of us are in the bed where there are lots of plants waiting to go into the big border in the HCBs’ garden.  It was quite hard for Hoggy to get up into this bed, but we all helped him and in fact, he stood on Donald’s head and managed quite well - which sounds silly, but it worked.

In the last shot, anyone looking for us would have heard us, because a lot of us were sneezing in amongst all the daisies and poppies.  We had to be quite careful in this bed because there were lots of bees around and we didn’t want to disturb them while they were collecting pollen and we certainly didn’t want to get stung.

We think dear Admirer would have loved seeing us playing together and although at times it was silly, and we know she would have giggled, we had great fun - I wonder how many of us you can count?  We were all there and we will give you a clue - with Mr and Mrs. HCB there were 24 of us in total - as long as you are good at maths, you can work it out!

Have a great weekend - Mr. HCB is saying he needs some rain for the garden, so we’re glad that we went out there today - as it may be wet by next Saturday.

Love from

P.S.  Mrs. HCB said to thank you all for your kind comments yesterday.  She is feeling better in herself today, but is having some issues with her legs - Mr. HCB says she should use her walking stick - but she is very stubborn - however, he can be very persuasive!  Watch this space.
