Common Snapping Turtle

Met this chap ambling down the drive and so I helped him (I think) down into the creek.

Didn't have gloves so hold them near the rear and hang on as they really don't like to be helped.

He weighed about 10lbs so it was a job to shift a biting clawing turtle but if was done and an inch of rain this afternoon should help him to zoom around the creeks
