New place.
This is Dentdale in Yorkshire. Today was a beautiful day and I decided to change the Lake District for the Yorkshire Dales or one of them, Dentdale. It was amazing with farmyards sheep and field of buttercups. Rivers were quite dry with just a trickle flowing through, but you could easily see that rivers here were powerful eroding the limestone into small waterfalls. I was glad not to look at waterfalls today as there wouldn't be much water falling from them. This photo was taken on the way up to Dent station, a good 5 miles from the village of Dent, and the highest station in England at 1150 feet. Don't be surprised if more from this trip is Blipped. My knee is behaving with paracetamol and exercise.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Oops, Dent is now in Cumbria and Dentdale could also be in Cumbria, I would think! Cumberland is the name of the council
