Oats

Looking good in soft evening light, but today's weather was almost the same as yesterday. Less sun and hail, more rain (4 mm, just one yesterday) and wind though, and the same single digit temperatures. Hardly any growing happening on the fields in this weather.

I went out to capture some of these patterns and the lapwing kept hovering nearby, so I took a few shots of it as well for the extra. Surprised how well the camera kept the flying bird in focus with the macro lens, which isn't supposed to be fast focusing. Had to crop quite a bit though.
