Change of plan

We were supposed to be heading for Ireland to see the fil tomorrow but it turns out he’s not yet properly clear of Covid so we have cancelled and rebooked flights and hire car.
Very mixed feelings as we would really like to be there to support him but I’m only just starting to feel like I’m back where I was a year ago when I caught it and the possibility of getting it again just now fills me with horror.
Anyway we made hay while the sun shines (metaphorically speaking) and got cavalo nero planted and some salad veg seeds in and covered some things to protect from the pigeons.
Back in a day or two to plant root vegetable seeds.
