energy levels

I have been recovering my energy levels today as my youngest has been at a holiday activity club and I have to say the house has been peaceful.

I picked up some friends from the airport. They were all tanned and warm looking. It was grey and miserable outside.

Other than that, the most exciting thing I did today was to change the battery in my kitchen scales. They were saying "ERR" which, with hindsight, was probably short for error and not "err????" which is how I read it.

Anyway, I didn't even get to shop for new scales as the battery change fixed the problem.
