It's Quite Baffling!

I'm not sure how on earth this happened. It's off a dual carriageway. The lady driver was thankfully unhurt. It's been on the local news tonight.

Today I met up with my sister-in-law. We had a lovely lunch together and caught up on all the news. Saw lots of video clips of my niece and nephew sending messages. They are growing up way too fast. Her eldest daughter is getting married in 2015 and of course I'm going to be there.

She is looking really well which is a blessing. Three years ago she had breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy. She was just 40 years old. But she has battled through and even took her nursing exams and passed while having all her treatment. She is amazing. Her hair used to be her pride and joy but she finds it hard to grow these days. I still think it suits her anyway and she looks lovely. Thankfully she is here until the 19th June so I'll get I see her a few more times before she flies back.

Tonight I'm going to a different masters swimming club. I can swim four times a week with this club. I'm sure it will suit me better. I need to do more swimming if I'm going to do some open water competitions.

I was quite pleased with myself this morning as I went running again. After the morning bootcamp session I started a 5k training program. I actually didn't find it too bad.....there is hope for me yet!
