Firstly, thanks for the love on the loss of Hone yesterday, its been a hard 24 hours really, but such is the risks with animals when living on a busy country road.

I went out to our districts craft group this morning, that was good to be among friends and perked me up somewhat.

Gardening this afternoon, these blue flowers really should be a spring flowering.  They had seeded from last year, and I guess because it is still really warm they have budded up and some flowers have appeared with lots still to come.  When the frosts come they'll get a knock !

A long weekend here in NZ - Kings Birthday Weekend, I still struggle to say that.
