love is a verb

Beautiful day

The elderberries are in full swing. They are loaded. We should make syrup but we usually just watch the birds enjoy them.
Quiet day. We went and manicured the cemetery today as Memorial is Sunday. Lots of family come and we have pot luck lunch. I will try to blip the church and cemetery. It was built in the 1800’s and is way off the beaten path. Most of Johnny’s family is buried there. His great grandparents who built our house are buried there along with 3 of their children who lived to adulthood and 4 who died as infants. All that history resonates with me. I’ve never been one to frequent the graves of loved ones. I know they aren't there, but I do like the history and the connections. When I was a child, one of my best friends was in her 80’s and lived across the street. She is actually a relative of Johnny’s. She is buried there. I always said if I had a girl, she would have been Rose or Rosie. Evangeline Rose was close enough. :—). And Jessica had no idea I loved that name.
Be blessed!
