Here it is - the annual peony blip. Earlier this year, when their trampled tubers were covered with pallets and tiles (see extra for the fightback), I thought all my efforts at transplanting them had come to nothing. I underestimated their resilience. Likewise the feverfew which I thought I'd also killed. (I knew the aquilegia was stronger than me.) All buzzing with bees this evening.
I am listening to Arvo Pärt through my newly installed speakers. Bit by bit my life is coming back together.
