Angel Lavender

Another day of near constant rain. At least the lawn seems to be enjoying the water.

I nipped out into my garden this evening between showers to see if there was anything suitable for a blip. I noticed that some of my Lavender has started to revive and flower. I took this shot of one of the flower heads, and looking at it on my monitor I was struck how the petals at the top almost look like a 3/4 profile of an angel with its face just poking out beyond it's wings.... at least that's what I can see.
