Oldies

As forecasted, June came in hot-hot-hot, hitting 92F this afternoon. Our unusual rollercoaster weather is to continue as Saturday’s high is predicted to be near forty degrees less than today! It may be June but it feels like August, but in two days April returns! What else can we do but hang on tight and enjoy the ride. Weeeeee! :) • I mowed the lawn while MrsP did some light weeding. It was too hot to do much of anything, especially digging and planting perennials, so we kept the plants and seeds we put in this week well hydrated • After a trip to the Post Office we stopped in for a quick visit to Waterfront Park where the boat landing is. A few old cars were already parked for the weekly Car Show that will now continue every Thursday evening through August. Any older, muscle or unusual vehicles are invited and it’s free to the public • Peace & Love from two oldies but goodies :)
