Flowering in the dunes just now.

The tree lupin. Non native. Invasive and lovely at the moment. The Ranger Service manage them after flowering as they feel they’d smother the dunes if left to colonise. The Ranger said “Ultimately they’re pretty, but rather a menace.” We were offered the chance to get one for the garden when the lupins are removed in autumn. We’ll try to do so.

A cold day for June on the east coast.

Family are well.
