Eartha the Hedgehog
We were delighted to see this garden visitor who we think has become a resident. Normally I would be concerned to see a hedgehog out in the daylight but apparently if they are gathering nesting material (extras) it's OK providing they look healthy and Eartha does. No visible ticks and moving very fast so we don't think she has lung disease. We like to think she might be a daughter of Sonica who we rescued during the first lockdown in 2020 and who was released back into the garden. She has made her home under a bush next to the patio. She has two entrances into it. Hopefully we won't see her again and she can settle in to have her hoglets (we think she looks pregnant in the main photo).
