Seaford Beach

Went down to the seafront this morning, taking a coffee with me in my Bodum travel mug (way over-priced but pretty effective).

I was surprised to see a whole area of disturbance in the calm sea about 500 yards out from sure. Got the binoculars out and saw that it was a school of porpoises frolicking about. Very unusual for this part of the coast.

The morning was glorious but the clouds in the background moved east and by lunchtime were depositing the usual rain over us which stayed for the rest of the afternoon.
