Ecclesiastical purple?

I think it is unusual to have wisteria growing up the side of a church but the flint and brick set off the soft mauve of the flowers very well. This not a very vigorous plant and each year I wonder whether it will survive. I managed to catch it in a few rays of sunshine before the clouds came over and the showers started.
