EV7 Day 3 - Rovereto

Easy ride from Trento to Rovereto. Sunny. Flat. Only 30 km. The route continues through the mountain valley, which is now almost exclusively vineyards (plus the towns, rail, highway). We arrive midday to Rovereto - a very cute, bike friendly town, with a nicely renovated medieval/Renaissance historical center. Today’s blip: 1930’s Art Nouveau era storefront slapped onto a medieval building. Back then it was Giovanni Bacca’s Cappelleria aka hat store. The store continues around the bend and that section has “Bacca Cappelleria” etched in the stone above the window. This part is now vacant and for sale. Although the Bacca family has downsized their inventory to half the original store, they are still selling hats there almost100 years!
