Polygala serphyllifolia

Milkwort - The blue form. This tiny heathland beauty has been flowering for more than a month now, so small it could easily go undetected growing in amongst the tufts of grass, but when looked at closely the variation in colour, form,  detail and frilly edges are quite wonderful.
And so May wild flowers come to a close.
