"Perennial" Garlic
This is a continuation of a Blip conversation I had with Cathaber regarding the green garlic I used in my soup on Monday.
Last year I had a very small bulb of garlic growing in a tub with the strawberries, it was left there over winter and it has started growing again, making lots of mini garlic plants. I'll cut 3 or 4 of the stems of garlic then use the whole thing chopped up for adding flavour to soups, stews and sauces!
It stayed sunny and dry until 4pm but not a particularly warm day. I potted on some plants and sat outdoors to eat lunch, with my fleece on!
