Walking is Free!!!

These abound in Wellington. They are mostly in full use over weekends when the "fun factor" comes into play and I don't think I have seen many being used for obviously going to work. The couple that I have seen looked like they were privately owned.
Some time ago I was out walking with a group when a bloke crossed the road in front of us and the scooter stopped dead at a road access point, propelling the business dressed bloke gracefully through the air to land face down on the footpath in front of us.....
I hope there was a first aid kit at his work...All that blood!!!!
