Little Singer

I truly believe there is no such thing as an ordinary bird -- same with trees, flowers, cats, dogs.....you get the idea.  Anyway, I recorded a dozen or so birds while sitting outside this evening.  I believe this is a song sparrow, I guess quite ordinary in the bird world.  I did discover that the northern cardinal seems to have a varied song since every time I thought I heard a new bird my app said it was a northern cardinal.  I'm not so sure of the accuracy of the app so I may have to find something more sophisticated, like a person who knows all about birds.  As soon as I went in the house a blue jay appeared but so far Whiskers is unavailable.
