River Otter

I had an easy journey back home by train late morning.  Lucky that I was returning this day as train strikes were taking place over the next few days.  Once home although I was feeling tired I decided I needed to go out for a short walk. So my husband and I wandered along the beach, which was fairly busy, not surprisingly given its a sunny half term and up the river estuary to White Bridge.  This is the view looking upstream.

An early night.  Its been lovely to help out with our daughter and family but nice to get home again.
