Wisteria tunnel

A nice new feature at RHS Wisley is the wisteria tunnel. It was planted quite a few years ago - five maybe- but this year is finally starting to grow over the top of the frame.

Arrived nice and early and walked up to our usual coffee haunt where we were the first and only customers. Sat outside in the sunshine although the wind was a bit chilly at times. Then a short walk around the roses and cottage garden area, then home. We like a short sharp visit!

Afternoon in the garden, planting the nepeta I bought and moving one of the grasses. Plus giving the borders a good water - it’s been so dry!
