10th

Back to three of us for golf this morning and I managed to play a little better, even managing a par here at the 10th.

This afternoon I had a long phone chat with one of the old schools friend we met up within January. A couple of weeks ago he went into hospital for what he thought was going to be a (relatively) straightforward procedure to have a stent inserted in a furred artery but ended up having open heart surgery when they discovered the main artery to his heart was 99% blocked.

He feels very lucky that they discovered this when they did and he’s been given a second chance. He’s back at home now and making a steady recovery.
