Day 10 Benavente to León. 62 miles (100km

Not on the N630 today at all. Just really beautiful  quiet country roads through pretty scenery in warm sunshine.  We had 11sies in a tiny village on a bench with a view of an old castle. Then on to ,Hospital de Órbigo  which was a very pretty town with a stunning Roman bridge. They were getting ready for a jousting festival hence all the bunting.  Here we joined a main road plus all the pilgrims (walking in the opposite direction). The road had a huge hard shoulder and was mostly ok. However as we approached León the traffic got heavier and then the last 2 miles was in a heavy rain storm. León is stunning and has a lovely atmosphere.
