The Sun has Lost his hat

Where has the sun gone today? It was cloudy and cold as I tramped over the Meadows this morning to have my tootsies  made holiday mode ready. 
I managed to blip the Ferris Wheel  bagging the high spot in the  fun fare which annually appears at the time of The Meadows Festival which will set up camp on Saturday and Sunday.
Now at 3pm the sun is struggling to appear but it’s a poor show when the rest of  the country has its sunglasses on……we’ll apart from the Northern Isles which have also been left behind in the sunny stakes.


PS as I finish writing this, I see some blue sky appearing - about time!
