Birthday Batman

Coffee with Susanna and her friend Dorothea this morning - she drives home to Switzerland tomorrow. We were also dodging downpours and thunderstorms!
This afternoon Asha and I made her teacher a birthday cake. This teacher is one of Asha's favourites and teaches them English, so she's decorated the cake as a Union Jack. 
Caña Club tonight and it was a huge one - we had the new 24-7 volunteers come join us after they'd prayer walked with Danny, plus Todd and Stephen's family from Atlanta just arrived to celebrate Anne's (pictured) 60th! Nate drew her a birthday pic of batman on a bike, ha! I love that we get to see these guys each year, each time we get to know more about them. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) These last 2 months with Susanna, they've been special.
2) Asha's generosity and kindness.
3) The Caña Club family.
