It must be Tuesday...again.

We left the beach this morning. Ellie wanted to stop at Tillamook Cheese Factory; I am glad she talked us into it because the self-guided tour was very interesting. We also got to sample the delicious cheese curds. I don't think they are available in stores, just at the factory. 

The 1 1/2 hour trip home felt very quick to Ellie because she fell asleep for the last hour of the trip. The car is her sleepy place; she still wants to take a nap, even after 9 hours of nighttime sleep.

We came home today because had swim lessons at 4PM. Today started a new session so she had a new teacher. I was delighted to see the progress he made with Ellie. Since she didn't meet the goals of the beginner class she had been taking; the school guaranteed she would be swimming at the end of the session so she was signed up free for the same class. I was concerned the teacher would simply start over but I was pleasantly surprised by her new teacher; he was fun and effective in teaching the kids. The other good news is that there were only two children in the class; both were at about the same level and were repeating the class. I am delighted and hopeful she will be swimming soon.
