Why an image of an old book on my birthday?

29 years ago today I was given this book by my Mum and Dad for my 10th birthday. Inscribed on the inside page is "To Keith, Happy 10th Birthday with love from Mummy and Daddy". Having read it several times, I wanted to fly. This I achieved, on and off, for 17 years in the Royal Air Force. I achieved things that, for some reason, made people want to write about me and they even put me on TV once!

I left the RAF a year ago today and set up my photography company, www.captureasecond.com, inspired by the other present that I received from them for my 10th birthday - a 35mm camera...

Funny how things work out!
