Grubs Up

Was quite surprised to see this gosling pecking for grubs at St Ives this morning.

The area around Coppice Pond - where I came across it - was quite busy - but it's protective parent kept humans and other wildfowl at bay - primarily by flapping its wings - charging - and making rather loud noises.
