TinyTuesday...Lichen

The sun was late on parade today,  3pm, just as I returned from a retail shopping trip....some summer basics. 
From the bus I saw swathes of deep red poppies and blue flowers,  cornflowers I think, along the roadside, plus stretches of white dog roses. It really is a lovely time of year..I  saw this lichen walking though the wooded area on the way home...
