Tiny Tuesday
A ½d 1950s stamp from the era of George VI. A ha'penny won't go far in today's postal service. My mate just had to pay £6.85 to send a letter by recorded delivery because they lost the last one. I wonder if standards and reliability were better in the 1950s. Probably not. Often the past seems brighter and better to us because WE were brighter and better in our youth.
