Hilltop towns
This is a back blip because my camera and computer refused to speak to each other last night.
We started the day at a gorge, high in the mountains. There was so much water in the river that we could not cross to walk to the upper waterfall. It was a beautiful spot nonetheless.
After lunch, we headed for a small town, just before the heavens opened. We were drenched before we abandoned our visit! My waterproof jacket withstood the test.
After yet another delicious meal cooked by Saskia, we headed out in the early evening light. The light on the buildings was soft and good for photography.
My image aims to show the sort of narrow streets and tall buildings that predominate the towns.
It was a good day. Drying out clothes in a cold farmhouse is a challenge!
