A big boy

When we got home from our trip to Tate's today the deer were grazing in the woods at the side of the yard.   They wandered off into the woods while we unloaded but I looked out again and they had come back.   There were six deer and four of them were bucks.

This boy has some huge antlers growing.  We can already see how thick they are and he has a good spread.   Hoping he won't come to any harm while the herd travels back and forth in this area finding food.

We have put corn in the feeder since it is time for the babies to be born.  Hoping to see some little fawns soon. 

Had a longer than normal drive home due to accidents or broke down cars on the interstate.  I would rather drive 200 miles than move at stop and go.  It took us an hour to drive 8 miles.   I should have known better than to go on that particular road as it is never good.
