Today I was hard at it in the garden clocking up 15,000 steps of grass cutting.

I finished listening to Simon Schama’s account of the bloody French Revolution- Citizens. Started listening to a life of Napoleon. By the time he was 28 he had led victorious armies in Italy to drive out the long-entrenched Austrian Empire to claim huge fees and major transfers of ‘Italian’ art treasures to Paris.
