Chugach Mountains

The Chugach Mountains more or less divide the Kenai Peninsula north to south. This view is what I see when I turn out right out of our driveway onto a side road and head for the post office, which is about 4 miles. Today was a beautiful sunny day.
These spruce trees are the main evergreen trees in the forest here (black spruce or white spruce), and the deciduous are mostly types of birch.

I back blipped for the last three days because we were out camping.
