1798 Rebellion

Before we went to South East Ireland I was unaware of the 1798 rebellion that tried to get the British out of Ireland. It got so far but eventually was crushed. Howeve,r the memories live on and this is a monument to it in Enniscorthy. Of course a later one in Easter 1916 eventually led to the independent Ireland we see today. Here are some more details.
